Terrific library! Growing up outside of Minnesota, in a state with mediocre libraries, it’s so refreshing to live in a place that prioritizes public libraries. We’ve got it good here. Big supporter of local libraries, and Maple Grove’s is top-notch. Great for quiet studying and a great kids selection. Highly recommend!
I love this space and the general vibes to the library. my problem is that it’s way to noisy. I get that it’s a public place and i think that children should be able to learn, but screaming and running around isn’t the type of learning to be done in the library. That learning can be done in a playground! I come to the library to study as many people do, but i just can’t because of the constant screaming from kids. Even in the study rooms you can hear them. makes me sad because I love libraries, but I can’t do what I come here to do at this one. :(
Great library. Lots of parking on structure adjacent to the library. Kids section is nice. Meeting rooms you can check out are comfortable and great for small or larger groups. Nice location with access to trails around the building.
I love the space but It is the most noisy library I have been to. People are allowed to be on phones and even worse speak loudly without regard for those who are studying
This library is one of the greatest library in the metro area. It has great spacious study rooms and quite areas. The stuff are always wonderful and very helpful. The study rooms can be reserve once a month on each group for group study/meeting but they always have at least one available room for two hours.
Screaming, crying, yelling, and running around from young children. I observed one mother busy talking on her phone paying no attention to her children running up to strangers. Very hard to focus on your studies with these unaddressed disturbances.
I always love going to this specific library for everything they offer. The staff is very helpful and friendly, you will always have several events and activities for the kids. One of my favorite libraries in the Hennepin County!!!
Brought the kid here for here first library card. She loves it! All book books are well-organized at their height. The library has an abundance of places for parents to sit w kids and some activities to learn together. The community center is just down the road too, we usually read for a while then go play there.

A very nice library located in the very heart of Maple Grove. The library itself is in a nice location with walking paths and public art surrounding the building. A nearby ramp supplies ample overflow parking. Inside the librarians are nice and helpful. The space is clean and tidy. There are many semi-private places to meet and study. Also available are some larger rooms that can be reserved.
